Share your memories and Lend your voice. Send in pictures and videos, and take a moment to record your answer to a few questions to be included in the ceremony via the Student Content Submission Form. The submission deadline is April 18, 2025.
Apply to Graduate: The deadline for undergraduate graduation applications will be February 9, 2025. Your application can be found in SIS. Visit the Office of the Registrar’s website for more information, or open a SEAM case.
Log into your Tassel account: Verify all information is correct, including your name. If you wish to update the name you see here and make sure it appears correctly at Commencement, please submit your changes in Self-Service by April 18th at 11:59PM For questions or if you need assistance, please contact SEAM. The deadline to make any changes must be made in SIS by April 18, 2025.
Register to attend commencement. On March 3, 2025 you will receive an email with your login information to Tassel. You MUST register for each ceremony that you plan to participate in. The registration deadline is April 18, 2025.
Order your Regalia: Be sure to purchase a cap and gown to participate in this year’s ceremony. Order online here. Online orders will be shipped directly to the student’s desired address (S&H fees will apply), or you can purchase your regalia in-store. The deadline to order your bachelor’s cap and gown online is April 4, 2025.
Attend Grad Fair to order personalized announcements, diploma frames, and your cap and gown in person. Grad Fair will take place April 10-12, from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the Johns Hopkins Barnes and Noble at St. Paul and 33rd Streets.
Have your Senior Portrait taken. GradImages® will be onsite taking portraits at the Grad Fair at the Johns Hopkins Barnes and Noble. More information about portraits can be found here.
Be part of the JHU Ring Tradition: You may order online at Balfour or 1-800-225-3687. More information about the ring ceremony can be found online here.

Arrive Early
Keep Your Feet Happy: Wear comfortable footwear; you will be walking and standing for long periods of time.
Leave Personal Items at Home: Backpacks, bags, and purses larger than 13″ x 15″ are not permitted. All bags will be searched upon entering the stadium. For a complete list of restricted items, visit the FAQ page.
Don’t Forget to Eat: Food and beverage will not be available in the stadium. Water will be provided.
