Faculty members are encouraged to participate in the universitywide Commencement ceremony in May 2027, date TBA as well as the ceremonies for their school. Please reach out to your individual schools for more information about their ceremonies.
Faculty planning to participate in the universitywide Commencement in May, please use the RSVP link below if you intend to sit on stage.
All Faculty are asked to wear their academic regalia to participate. To order your regalia, please contact your department by following the link below.
Faculty Stage Seating
We hope you will join us for the Johns Hopkins Universitywide Commencement marking the close of the 151st academic year. The ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. on a TBA date in Mid-May on Homewood Field. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be postponed until the following Friday at 9 a.m.

NEED TO ORDER ACADEMIC REGALIA?
Contact the Johns Hopkins University Campus Store at 443-899-1329. The deadline to order is early-April 2027.
General Faculty Attendance
University faculty members are invited to attend the universitywide Commencement ceremony without processing or sitting on the stage. If that is how you would prefer to participate, we encourage you to reach out to [email protected] to request reserved seating.
Volunteering
The universitywide Commencement ceremony will take place in May 2027, from 9 a.m.–noon on Homewood Field. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in May 2027, from 9 a.m.–noon.
The evening before Commencement, we will gather for the annual Senior Toast in May 2027, from 8–10 p.m. on Keyser Quad. This special tradition brings together all JHU undergraduates and their families for one final celebration on the Homewood campus. If severe weather occurs, the event will move to the Bloomberg Student Center.
These milestone moments would not be possible without the support of our dedicated volunteers. We hope you will consider lending your time and energy to help create an unforgettable experience for our graduates and their families. Whether you choose to volunteer for one event or both, your participation makes a lasting difference.
Volunteer Training will be held in mid-May 2027. It is important that you try to attend one of the sessions.
