Universitywide Commencement 2027

Date and Time TBA
Homewood Field, Homewood Campus

Graduate check-in for bachelor’s and doctoral candidates will be held in Robert Scott Gym in the Ralph S. O’Connor Recreation Center. Check-in opens at 7:30 a.m. Master’s candidates do not need to check-in and can head directly to the field.

Tassel

Eligible graduation candidates will receive a registration email from Tassel in early March 2027. Participation in the Commencement ceremony requires registration in Tassel by mid-April, date TBA. While in Tassel, verify your name, pronunciation, and degree. If you haven’t received your email from Tassel in early March 2027, reach out to your school’s Registrar. 

Student Content Submissions

To make the ceremony both meaningful and fun, we are asking students to submit photos and videos to be included in this year’s ceremony. These photos and videos maybe included in this year’s ceremony. The deadline is mid April, date TBA. Submit your photos or videos here.

Regalia

Every graduate attending the ceremony must wear regalia purchased through the Johns Hopkins University Campus Store. The deadline to order your regalia online will be early April, date TBA. Regalia can be purchased in store. For regalia questions, please call 443-899-1329.

Grad Fair

Grad Fair will take place early April, date TBA, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Johns Hopkins University Campus Store at St. Paul and 33rd Streets.
