Universitywide Commencement 2025

Thursday, May 22 at 9 a.m. ET
Homewood Field, Homewood Campus

Graduate check-in for bachelor’s and doctoral candidates will be held in Robert Scott Gym in the Ralph S. O’Connor Recreation Center. Master’s candidates do not need to check-in and can head directly to the field.

Tassel

Eligible graduation candidates will receive a registration email from Tassel on March 3. Participation in the Commencement ceremony requires registration in Tassel by Friday, April 18. While in Tassel, verify your name, pronunciation, and degree. If you haven’t received your email from Tassel after March 3, reach out to your school’s Registrar. 

Regalia

Every graduate attending the ceremony must wear regalia purchased through the JHU Barnes & Noble Bookstore. The deadline to order your regalia online is April 4.

Grad Fair

Grad Fair will take place April 10-12, from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the Johns Hopkins Barnes and Noble at St. Paul and 33rd Streets.
