Who Attends: Class of 2025 bachelor’s, doctoral, and master’s candidates, and their guests.
Livestream: TBD
Steps to Get Ready:
1. Eat before the ceremony. Water will be provided, but all other food and beverages are prohibited on Homewood Field.
2. Leave your personal items at home. Aside from your phone, all other items should be left at home. No signs, flags, banners or posters are permitted at the ceremony.
3. Arrive early to check in. Graduate check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. in the Ralph S. O’Connor Recreation Center in the Bob Scott Gym. Remember traffic will be heavy on and around campus the morning of commencement, so leave yourself plenty of time to get to campus and park if you are driving. If you have the ability to take public transportation, this may be a better method of getting to commencement to avoid congestion at the parking garages.
4. Note your seating assignment. On your GradPass (ceremony ticket), you will find your seating assignment. Seats are assigned alphabetically by school and department. It may be helpful to send your families and friends a screenshot or text to let them know where you will be seated so they can find you on the field!
5. Ask questions. If you or your family have questions, please visit commencement.jhu.edu or email [email protected].
6. Get excited! You’ve made it, and it’s time to celebrate!
