
Student Content Submission
Thank you to everyone who submitted photos and videos, the submission site is now closed.
Class of 2023 — We want to feature you in Commencement!
To make the ceremony both meaningful and fun, we are asking graduates to submit photos and videos to be included in this year’s ceremony. Submit your short video and/or photos by Friday, April 21st. Please review the following information before submitting your content.
Video Upload
Record a video responding to one or more of the prompts below. You can submit as many responses as you’d like.
Start your video by stating which prompt(s) you’re responding to and pause for a few seconds before recording your response.
Prompts:
- What is your favorite memory from your time at JHU?
- What was your favorite event(s) throughout your years at Hopkins.
- What will you miss most about Hopkins?
Video Guidelines:
- Video should be no more than 1 minute.
- Film your video horizontally, not vertically.**
- Avoid recording in loud environments or outside on a windy day.
- Use a window as a fill light source and avoid having the window directly behind you.
- Name your file as follows: yourfirstname_yourlastname
**If you are submitting existing video content or content from a platform like TikTok that is vertically oriented that will still be acceptable.
Photo Upload
Submit photos of your time at Hopkins. These could be photos of you and your friends, your favorite memories of campus groups/activities, your favorite place on campus, or any other photo that represents your Hopkins experience.
Photo Guidelines:
- Horizontal or vertical orientation are both acceptable.
- Name your file as follows: yourfirstname_yourlastname
All submissions will be reviewed for appropriateness and adherence to specifications. By submitting your content, you agree to the Johns Hopkins University User-Generated Content Agreement
